| Domriso03-03-07, 02:08 PM | Quite honestly that Prestige Class is one of the more amusing that i have seen. And it actually has useful abilities that could help in battle. And good roleplaying functions. Just one question: In the "You Hooligans go home" effect, does it only affect outsiders, or any creature with the (extraplanar) subtype? And what is the DC equal to? |
| lumber_of_the_beast03-03-07, 03:04 PM | Where's "Get off my lawn!"? |

It actually affects any creature that is not at home. I just wanted to mention that outsiders where banished back to their planes. And what DC are you talking about? |
| Leress03-03-07, 03:33 PM | This reminds me of that PrC from "Bride of the Portal Hole" supplement called Grizzled old man. |
| leather_book_wizard03-03-07, 03:35 PM | Sounds like a cool PrC. I got the idea for this one here from Order of the Stick. The bard accuses the paladin of having levels in the mean old cranky pants prestige class.:D |
| lumber_of_the_beast03-03-07, 03:47 PM | What I find amusing is that said paladin wouldn't actually be able to take levels in this PrC, as she isn't old enough. And you never answered my question. ;_; |
| leather_book_wizard03-03-07, 03:52 PM | Where's "Get off my lawn!"? "You hooligans go home!" was originally called "Get off my lawn!" but I changed it. |
| Rakmakallan03-03-07, 07:45 PM | :D :D :D That is a hilarious one. How come he doesn't get some sort of "I'll called the police you trespassing rascals!!!" ability? |
| leather_book_wizard03-04-07, 01:11 PM | :D :D :D That is a hilarious one. How come he doesn't get some sort of "I'll called the police you trespassing rascals!!!" ability? Because that doesn't translate very well into D&D. |
| Leress03-04-07, 04:39 PM | Because that doesn't translate very well into D&D. Isn't that just an intimidation check. :P |
| TheAnthroDM03-04-07, 05:10 PM | "I see someone took levels in the mean old cranky pants prestigous class" OOTS Anyone? |
| leather_book_wizard03-04-07, 05:12 PM | Yes, I have already stated that is where this idea came from. |
| highbulp03-04-07, 05:25 PM | Biting Sarcasm(Su): The cranky pants' sarcastic rmearks can actually harm the target. Wice a day per 2 class levels, the mean old cranky pants can make a Bluff check (DC 10+ 1/2 half target's level) against an opponent to deliver a biting sarcastic remark. Assuming that's supposed to be "twice a day per 2 class levels," isn't that just a long way of saying "once per day per class level?" Did you mean "twice a day per class level" or "once a day per 2 class levels?" I would say give them it as much as they want--the character has to make a skill check to deal at most 6d6dmg--which is really not all that much, and it doesn't even effect all creatures. You also might want to change the check DC, as having something based on the targets level (HD? ECL?) is not really good form. Maybe have them be able to use this once/day/class level, and have it do charlevel/3*d6 damage with a will save for half (DC the Oratory check). |

No, I meant twice a day per 2 class levels. Which is I suppose is a long way of saying once a day per class level. |
| Sudnji_cas03-07-07, 05:33 PM | Angry lecture would maybe need successful grapp;e check or target to be flatfooted. |
