| Valzak04-15-08, 02:37 PM | I am acquiring a new PrC since I just completed the 10 levels of one but I got a question. My last PrC granted me 2 Virtual Leadership Feats. My next PrC I am trying to get in requires Leadership as a Feat my DM thinks it could work but wishes me to ask the greater D&D community about this. We are running 3.0 Edition running in a Metropolitan Underworld type campaign fyi. Please tell me if the Virtual Leadership feats will be enough to get into the next PrC. |
| LSMFT04-15-08, 02:41 PM | Someone else may know this, but what PrCs are you talking about? "Virtual Leadership" Just a guess: The PrC says something like "you gain blah blah blah as if you had the Leadership feat." Is that right? Did you gain followers, a cohort? both? |
| Valzak04-15-08, 05:17 PM | yeah thats right, the PrC I am talking about is the Connection from Ultimate Prestige Classes by Mongoose Publishing (putting aside that most if not all MGP stuff is over powered and not balance aside) it grants me the following "Protected Interests: The connection gains a virtual leadership feat. The cohort and followers gain through this are 'enforcers' the connection can use as bodyguards, henchmen, or for any other task he sees fit. ..." |

As you move away from "official" material you might just as well expand your definitions of what fills requirements. Saying you want a RAW answer when using third party material that you admit is overpowered and unbalanced doesn't do any good. |

IIRC though, one of the times he gets a virtual Leadership feat, he only gets the cohort from it. But the big thing is that a Connection can also pick up the Leadership feat. From a rules perspective, sticking to the rules means that you should also pick it up as a Feat aswell as a class feature - they also stack IIRC. |
| LSMFT04-16-08, 10:58 AM | That it specifically says it is not Leadership but something else (a "virtual" version) suggests that you don't have the "actual" feat. You need the feat to qualify. But, like Wih said, at least it stacks. |
