Monk Masters & Gnomes... hope this idea isn't original [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-26-07, 09:43 AM Okay, I am in a campaign currently where I play a Gnome monk. While in comparison to other monks he's awful at doing any damage whatsoever he is by far one of my favorite characters to roleplay. My question is... has anybody come up with a P.E.A.C.H. Prestige class focusing on the little monks... It seems to me like they need a little love.

My other idea is, what about a monk PrC focusing on the being a master/leader side of things. This Gnome monk I play has the Leadership feat and wishes to be a Waymaster(I am using the 1st ed D&D Rank names for RP flavor) training young monks while honing his own skills. If none of these exist or none exist that I think complete what im looking for I may post ideas of my own for future discussion.

03-26-07, 01:18 PM Dunno, but you might want to try to make use of the Giantbane tactical feat from CW. That sure has a lot of amusing flavor.

03-26-07, 01:42 PM Yes possibly... im thinking more of a almost commander type role idk think Shaolin Temple... the Grand Master... sure he's a powerful monk but he'd have many more feats as a powerful leader/teacher of his trade and art. I've never seen a good prestige class that really fit this in my opinion. At least not in an oriental monk type scene.
