Mystic Theurge build [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-19-07, 07:26 PM What other dual-spellcasting Prc's are out there? I know of Fochlucan Lyrist, True Necromancer and Arcane Heirophant any others? Does anyone know a good build for this type of char?

If not, Cerebromancer (arcane/psionic) and Ultimate magus (prepared arcane/spontaneous arcane) both do double duty.

I suggest looking in the Character Optimization boards. They probably have a guide or two for dual casters.

03-19-07, 08:22 PM Other builds include Ultimate Magus (combining 2 arcane types of classes, as mentioned above), Eldritch Theurge (Combining Warlock with another type of arcane caster) and Eldritch Desciple (combining Warlock with a divine caster). These are found in the Complete Mage book. The difference between these classes is that they do not offer full spellcasting progression (except for the eldritch theurge), but they do offer class abilities that help a caster be better at what they do and actually allows one to mix casting styles together in some minor capacity.
