Nature-friendly spells (Sentinel of Bharrai) [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have a question about "Nature-friendly spells". It says the SoB "may choose to deal nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage against animals and plants . . ." By "animals", does that mean "creatures in the MM of type 'animal'", or does it mean "all creatures (as distinct from plants)"?

06-02-07, 04:02 PM Creatures of the Animal, Vermin and Plant type, I'd guess, as well as regular, unstatted plants like trees and flowers. That's all it affects.
