HyperFreak 11-08-07, 11:43 AM	I'm DMing a game with some friends and I've been looking to enhance a few qualities of one of thier favorite NPCs. The NPC is a fighter of mid level and when I roll for him he happens to crit an unusual amount. I was wondering if anyone knew of a PrC that could aid him in doing more of that, or making them hit harder. I know there's feats like improved crit, and such. Is there a PrC someone has seen/made (balanced if made :P) that I could use as well/instead? Thanks! The 'Freak
ArkhamInmate 11-08-07, 06:48 PM	If he really seems to crit that much just give him a scythe and some sort of weapon master PrC, sorry i can't think of any off the top of my head, Kensai maybe?
Rulebook 11-08-07, 07:25 PM	if you're willing to both shell out money and open a new can of worms... the Marksman from Torn Asunder: Critical Hits is EXACTLY what you're looking for. nothing like a 17-20 x6-7 scythe to brighten up your day
serow_#R 11-09-07, 05:57 AM	Not a PRC, but... Let the fighter have the Weapon Spec chain from PHB2. More bonus to hit = more chances of confirming that crit, More static bonuses = more damage when critting. Also gives solid consistent damage without really being anything more than what the fighter without the WS chain is doing.

The 'Freak Well, OA and iirc Sword and Fist had the Weapon Master, which did improve your criticals and crit threat range. However, they are 3.0 material so they may need some minor update. The Mind's eye folks did a psionic version of the WM, which may be worth your time if you have a few psychic warrior/ardent/psion levels. Zsasz_Diedne 11-10-07, 11:40 PM	I second the 3.0 Weapon Master from Sword and Fist, it was "updated" along with the Master of Chains (another favorite) into the Exotic Weapon Master in Complete Warrior, an update many of us rightfully ignore.
