Evening all,

I'm trying to throw together another new PrC for my campaign. This time I'm looking for a Half-Elf diplomat/warrior type (sounds random, maybe but I'm thinking kind of along the lines of Jedi Knight in terms of ideal rather than abilities.) I see them in light or no armour so would probably write that into the combat side.

I'd got as far as thinking about a water related theme with 2 paths, still water for the diplomat side and rushing water for the warrior side. Still water images being focused on calming tempers, negotiation, etc. rushing water images looking at water cutting through rock, fluidity of motion around an opponent trying to make their strength into their weakness. I've not really put together a level progression yet but I'd like to hear what you think about the abilities for now, any response greatfully recieved as ever :)

So still water first:-
Early on I wondered about a calm emotions spell like ability similar to the first bardic sub level, I'll argue with DC, times per day etc. when I'm a bit further through the thinking processes
Reduced penalties for "rushed" diplomacy checks
Maybe master manipulator/wanderer's diplomacy as a bonus feat

Rushing water:-
Path of least resistance gain target's armour check penalty as a bonus to attack
Crushing waves gain target's character level as a bonus to damage
Fluid defense gain target's BAB/4 as a bonus to AC
Steady erosion for each turn spent fighting defensively you may reduce your target's DR by 1

All apply to the target of your Dodge feat

For pre-reqs BAB +5, skill reqs in sense motive and diplomacy, race: Half-elf, maybe negotiator as a feat and definitely dodge

So yeah, any/all input greatfully received, particularly any more ideas for the still water side. I was thinking of offering abilities alternately over maybe a 7 level class?

cheers
