PrC for Chaos Monk [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-10-07, 03:06 PM Enlightened Fist and Drunken Master might be two of them (this is off the top of my head), but keep in mind they're geared for a Lawful Monk heritage. As far as I know, there are no official PrCs that increase things like the Displacement Stance or the Flailing Strikes progression.

Having said that, you can check out my custom-made PrC, the Cat Fu Fighter (link in my sig). Should be useful for any Chaos Monk, but you can only really appreciate if you're somewhat familiar with Ranma 1/2.

So, please check it out? And comment? Helpful advice? Anything?

If you're just looking for a class to get into and still advance your Monk abilities... take two feats: Monastic Training and Tashalatora; then multiclass into Psychic Warrior. That's a combo for an uber-Monk. There are plenty of great powers that a Monk can take advantage of; plus, you can make up for the feats spent since PsyWar gets bonus ones.

Or, if you want to stick more with the Monk flavor... There's a PrC called Fist of Zoeken (aka: Psionic Fist):

Enlightened Fist, Sacred Fist, Psionic Fist. Also, while they don't give you a lot of what normal monk PrCs give, Drunken master and Initiate of the Draconic Mysteries. I don't have the book Tashalatora is from so I can't say... Doesn't it require lawful alignment somehow?

10-10-07, 08:21 PM While not a PrC, Barbarian levels mix well with Chaos Monk ones. Grab Superior Unarmed Strike to cover what you lose and think about Raging with the Chaos Monk abilities mixed in as well.
