| malak9207-01-07, 10:10 PM | DnD can take people from hundreds of differant climates and scenerios, but the one that i think can hold alot of mystery and secret is the Desert. The campiegn i have recently started is largely based on Deserts,(Annaroch, Calim Desert etc.) from Forgotten Realms. I have access to almost any book and yes i have looked into SS deeply for information and ideas. I have roughly thought of the idea of Sand Shaper. Sand Shaper has a rich roleplaying aspect aswell as those unique sandcrafting abilities. Does anyone have ideas for a Desert PrC? I'm looking for mage types in perticular. Ideas anyone?? |

| malak9207-01-07, 10:28 PM | Yes thats what i ment by SS (Sandstorm) |
| Darth Sephiroth07-01-07, 11:15 PM | Not quite for casters, though some of them may end up choosing it for the more combat based ones. Dust Rider (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=12930620) |

A kinda rogue/caster prc could focus on moving through the sand, maybe call them "Sandsharks", gaining a burrow speed and some sand related abilities. I like the cinematic image of the dark figure sliding traceless out of a dune to sneak attack some clueless passerby. |

I think that a rehash of the Frost Mage (Frostburn) for a desert environment should be feasible. You can make it into a semi-sandshaper - with desert and fire-themed spells instead of ice. The natural armor can be from sand, for example. |
| malak9207-03-07, 11:55 AM | ah, ill look into Frostburn but yet i never encountered a reason to look into the ice campiegn while wanting to play a desert role. thanks, but keep the ideas up people! :D |
