| Jaxgaret09-15-07, 01:16 AM | Nightsong Enforcer, from CV. You can Tumble (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/tumble.htm) in armor without any magic items. Or does the amulet just lower your ACP? |
| Arkeas09-15-07, 01:54 AM | Um, I looked at the class, and I can't find the ability you are talking about. There is the ability that reduces the armor check penalty of light armor, but that is it as far as I can tell. |

No, no, I mean you can Tumble (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/tumble.htm) in armor regardless of anything else. It's part of the core rules. Look at the rules for Tumbling (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/tumble.htm). Nothing in there states that you cannot Tumble (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/tumble.htm) in armor. Nightsong Enforcer has nothing to do with Tumbling (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/tumble.htm); it's just a good PrC for a Fighter/Rogue. |
| Arkeas09-15-07, 04:19 AM | Why don't you take a look at the rules. First paragraph under Tumble: You cannot tumble if your movement rate is reduced due to armor or loot. |
| imakuni6709-15-07, 01:31 PM | your speed is only reduced in heavy armor |
| StevenO09-15-07, 02:21 PM | your speed is only reduced in heavy armor Medium Armor also reduces your speed unless your a dwarf in which case heavy armor doesn't reduce your speed either. It is a little obscure but I don't think the Dread Commando (Heroes of Battle) is such a bad warrior/rogue PrC. It may also have been part of the previews so you may even be able to find it in the archives. One of the class benefits is a reduction in the ACP of ANY armor you wear. Additionally it provides the entire party with an initiative boost. On your character build, if you are going Fighter 4 and already focusing on a weapon then also consider Weapon Specialization. |
| Arkeas09-15-07, 02:25 PM | your speed is only reduced in heavy armor That's a downright lie. Medium armor reduces a human's speed from 30 ft. to 20 ft. Unless you are referring to the mithral medium armor does not decrease it, and only heavy mithral armor does, in which case I do not understand the relevece your comment. |
| The_Shaman09-15-07, 04:43 PM | Nightsong Enforcer, from CV. Still a great PrC, one of the best for you. It gives full BAB, 4d6 sneak attack, some useful abilities normally reserved for higher-level rogues. Plus, you make your entire party better at stealth. I think the Scarlet Corsair from Stormwrack could work as well. More skill points would have been welcome, but still: it's a fighter's rogue PrC. Any other PrC that fits your style could work: Streetfighter, Dark Hunter, anything. As for the armor training ability, I think it more useful if you are wearing a mithral/lightweight version of an otherwise medium armor, as it can still have some AC penalty that the class feature rids you of. Also, I think some of the tricks that let you TWF with a two-handed weapon (armor spikes, for example) might increase the armor check penalty of an armor. I'd probably go with IUS/SUS and use unarmed strikes as an off-hand weapon (IIRC TWF-ing a two-hander and unarmed strikes was done in the Rules of the Game series that dealt with unarmed strikes), though. |

I could have sworn that your character was wearing Mithral Breastplate, not Full Plate, which you could have Tumbled in just fine. Your original comment was that the amulet "lets me tumble in armor", not "lets me tumble in medium or heavy armor". Still a great PrC, one of the best for you.
