| Tigron32108-21-07, 05:08 PM | When one takes their first level in their prestige class, do they have to continue in that class until they finish it? Or can they put levels into other classes they may have? Such as a Ninja going into Shadowdancer. Can he go back and put levels into ninja while he's involved in Shadowdancer? |

The only time you could not do so is when the base class you wanted to return to has a multiclassing restriction, such as the paladin or the monk, and even with them, there are PrCs that allow it. That being said, requiring a PrC to be taken to completion is not an uncommon houserule (in the sense that it is particular to a specific house.) |
