Prestige Classes for Warlock [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-16-07, 11:17 PM I am currently creating a Warlock-class character, and I want to think ahead before I heavily customize it. Can anyone recommend prestige classes available to the Warlock, or maybe give me a list? I'm not specifically looking for one from Complete Arcane--I'd like to explore all my options.

05-17-07, 06:19 AM The Complete Mage book has 3 of nice Prestige Classes involving Warlock, but a bit of multiclassing will be necessary on 2 of them:

Eldritch Disciple: A combination of Warlock and some Divine Magic using class.
Eldritcht Theurge: A combination of Warlock and some Arcane Magic using class
Enlightened Spirit: Warlock turned to good, gets nice divine abilities such as AC bonus and many spell-like abilities while strenghtening his Eldritch Blast

05-18-07, 12:37 PM I'm playing a warlock now, and have taken Chameleon from Races of Destiny I believe. I've only taken two levels of Chameleon, for the bonus feat that changes every day. I'm very adept at making magic items when we have down time, and I get to choose a new Invocation every day, by taking the extra invocation feat. I like the versatility for only two levels of Warlock lost.

05-18-07, 02:24 PM A 1 level dip in Mindbender gives you Telepathy 100' and qualifies you for the Mindsight feat from LoM....always nice

I'm very adept at making magic items when we have down time, and I get to choose a new Invocation every day, by taking the extra invocation feat. I like the versatility for only two levels of Warlock lost.

Very interesting, something for me to consider for my warlock at a future time. I intend to take my full 20 levels in warlock, but in the hypothetical the campaign goes into epic this is something to consider. Enlightened Spirit was intriguing for epic, but I should reread this prestige class to consider it as an epic option.
