ninja1 05-02-07, 02:16 PM	I'd say that's a DM's call. However, it should not be allowed if the Effigy is of a creature that does not normally advance by adding racial HD.. ..examples include races that advance by character class or by age category. Otherwise, I'd say that it sounds reasonable enough to "upgrade" them with improvements to its framework as long as the new HD would not bring the base creature type into a new size category.
