After an initiate of sevenfold veil shields himself by casting a warding, can he still cast spells on the foes outside the warding?
I think yes, but I just want to make sure.
Thanks!

Yes he can, the warding is one-way. If enemies get on his side they can cast though it too.

Because the Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil is basically the best prestige class out there for an Abjurer. Think Wizard into Master Specialist (Abjuration) into Initiate. You could just sit there in combat all day and use Spell Turning with more or less unbeatable DC's (Making sure to apply metamagic to allow you to have more than one spell level devoted to full blocks of Spell Turning). And then you call Kalidescopic Doom down on your foes and just win.

This all is to say nothing of the firepower that sheathing yourself and a number of archery-specialized allies in a Violet veil can do. Wanna hit us? Make your saving throw every attack or die. Sooner or later you'll roll a 1.

I <3 Initiate of the Sevenfold Veils. If I ever get into another high-level campaign, I'm going to play one.

Master Specialist seems tailor-made for Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil:

The latter requires three feats; the former grants two of those feats and requires the other. The former also grants you two free abjuration spells by the time you begin to qualify for the latter. As if this weren't enough, you can complete both PrCs by 20th-level, allowing you to take Master Specialist to epic levels after that.

These classes are so synergetic; it's unbelievable.

An Initiate can make only one type of Warding passable from their side, a wall. Even with the wall it only makes it safe to pass through, it does not negate the warding effect - at least by my reading, happy to be corrected as I am playing an IotSFV. You could walk through your warding, but not fire a spell through an indigo veil for example.

Unless specifically identified in the PRC's description we should consider the warding work in the same way as layers of a Prismatic wall or sphere.
