How does the Speed bonus and the AC bonus interact with previous gained monk levels?

(Hope this doesn't sound like too much, but this is the simplest way I could think of to phrase it)

You effectively add sacred fist levels and monk levels to determine your monk abilities (speed, AC, and unarmed damage not class features like slow fall). For example, a level 5 cleric, level 5 monk, level 5 sacred fist would have the speed, AC, and unarmed damage of a 10th level monk.

Since it didn't outright say that I wasn't sure. And the fact that the AC bonus and speed bonus are usuable in light armor made me wonder if they overrode the regular monk abilities, as those don't work in armor.

I believe they do override the monk abilities if you are in light armor, as it doesn't say they stack. There's been two printings of this class, you wouuld think any ambiguous wording would have been fixed.

Where does it say this for EVERYTHING? I'm looking at the Sacred Fist in Complete Divine right now, and the only ability it says to add to Monk levels is on it's unarmed damage.

If there's another printing of Sacred Fist that says to add to Monk levels for all the Monk-esque abilities, and takes precedence, I'd love to know. As right now I plan on using Sacred Fist, and am kind of bummed out that the speed bonus doesnt stack, and I'm not super sure on the AC bonus.
