Radiant Servant of Pelor's healing spells [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-07, 01:30 AM Simple Question, the entry for his healing enpower/maximize ability mentions it works on any domain spell from the healing domain.

does it have to be memorized as a domain spell to be affected by the ability or does it need to simply belong to the domain?

08-02-07, 06:07 PM Empower Healing (Ex): When a radiant servant of Pelor of at least 2nd level casts a domain spell from the Healing domain, that spell is affected as though by the Empower Spell feat. This spell does not use up a higher-level slot.

This implies that the spell does, indeed, need to be cast from the domain slot. Otherwise, they would have said 'When a radiant servant of Pelor of at least 2nd level casts a spell from the Healing doman, <yadda, yadda, yadda>'. Unfortunate, but true.
