Rage Mage Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-29-07, 05:47 PM I'm a little confused about Spell Rage.

Is spell rage a completely different ability than Rage or is Spell Rage an improved barbarian's Rage that can be done fewer times a day?

Well I guess the real question is "do I get Rage bonuses (+4 str/con, etc) when I am in a spell rage, or is spell rage just a phase where you get an increased effective caster level(and later an increased spell save DC)"

09-29-07, 08:47 PM Spell Rage is something different but that can be performed at the same time as a normal rage. Just like the Frenzied Berserker's Frenzy is actually separate from a Barbarian Rage but can be combined so to is the Spell Rage.
