| Archangel08-31-07, 06:27 AM | Hi all, I need some clarification for this prestige class. More specifically about its lvl 10 ability, "Cleric spell access". It says for a Sorcerer it can cast cleric spells as divine spells. Does that mean he needs Wis for these spells or it only means they can be cast in full armor and are considered divine spells for benefits or disadvantages certain monsters or items would give? Also what is not clarified in the description is if the sorcerer gets all the cleric spells on his Known spell list or are those spells now just available to take when new spell slots for learning open up? I mean in the latter case it is not really useful ability since sorcerer only gets a few new to learn spell slots and can only exchange a few of them. It kind of is not worth 4 less spellcasting levels. But a wizard would get the chance to copy each and every cleric spell to his spell book although it even says in the description that this is a favored prestige class for sorcerers. In my thinking it is better for wizards since their spellbook would be full of lvl 1-8 of both wizard and cleric spells! Any thoughts on this from anyone? |
