| yannick_de_vries07-08-07, 02:14 PM | i'm looking for advise !!! wich one is better for a rogue(1)/cleric(1) near cleric (2) ... Iwant to go in shadowbane branch but i'm confuse , I'm a frontline base cleric with stealth skill. |
| JellyPooga07-08-07, 03:10 PM | From a purely crunch perspective, Stalker is better because it advances spellcasting progression (and is full-caster prog IIRC). On a purely fluff perspective though, I prefer Inquisitor. They are just sooo bad-A  From what little you've given me about your character, I'd say go for Stalker...they're more Cleric/Rogue, whereas Inquisitor is more Paladin/Rogue |
| The_Shaman07-09-07, 06:10 AM | Stalker, certainly. It is geared towards rogue-clerics, as JellyPooga mentioned, and makes a pretty good job of it. Didn't the inquisitor require smite, anyway? |
| JellyPooga07-09-07, 07:31 AM | Didn't the inquisitor require smite, anyway? I don't think so...just Detect Evil as spell-like or spell I think...I could be wrong though...it certainly gets Smite (and a far better version than that pansy Smite Evil too) |
| claypigeons07-09-07, 10:19 AM | A couple notes... Firstly, the Shadowbane Stalker isn't quite full casting progression. It gets 8 out of 10. Secondly, the Shadbowbane Inquisitor DOES NOT get any casting progression. If you wish to be maintain your casting, go Stalker. |
| StevenO07-09-07, 02:21 PM | If you want to continue as a beat stick the you go with Inquisitor. If you aren't worried so much about keeping the highest BAB then definitely the Stalker, especially if you have a full casting progression. |
