10-06-07, 02:07 PM OK, I just have a basic question, but would like to get a solid answer (since I'm assuming, I've never played a wizard).

The easiest way to ask is to give an example.

A focused specialist wizard is about to advance to 4th level. He will be taking the Master Specialist PrC at that time. Does he still get the 3 spells per day extra (in the chosen school) for being a focused specialist while taking the PrC?

I'm assuming yes. Because it wouldn't really be worth it to give up two schools for a bump in spells/day for just 3 levels.
