(EDIT: I searched it, seems more well-known than I thought <_<) Rage (up to +6, no fatigue, 5 times/day), Pounce, good fort and will saves, built-in boots of haste, immune to fear, +4 vs mind-affecting spells, two bonus feats and a massive boost in Ki Shouts/day, and Ki Shout as a free action if made with a full attack action? That's pretty beefy right there. Lead into the class with Samurai (OA) or Paladin of Freedom (UA) and throw in some Marshal (MH) and you've got a fairly versatile character, and I believe set up with enough feats to do your ubercharger (I forget what they are, remind me). Assuming I want to do at least eight levels, if not ten levels of this, what would you guys suggest for a build? |

However, it makes for a pretty good Paladin PrC even with the redundant immunity to fear. I don't know much about the Marshal class, so I can't comment. However, you might want to check Dragon 318 for the update article on Oriental Adventures - I believe there was some minor change in the Singh Rager as well. I could imagine a build such as Paladin 4/ Fighter 1 or 2/ Pious Templar 4+/Singh Rager 10-. PT already gives you weapon specialization, and 4 levels of paladin give you turn undead - otherwise I'd swp the number of paladin and fighter levels. |

So yeah, using the standard Paladin would work combined with Fighter and Pious Templar. Marshal would be like a fighter and bard combined in a way, getting the Charisma synergy another twist. And seeing as I don't receive Dragon Magazine and have no way of finding issue #318, well, boo =( |
