Skald Anyone? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-11-08, 08:53 PM So I'm lookin for a prestige class for a barbarian bard combination. Races of Faerun has the Warrior Skald, but that's not really what I'm looking for. Anyone know of any other PrCs like that? If not, anyone have any hints for writing my own?

04-12-08, 01:11 PM lol, Snorri Sturluson was definitely not a barbarian, but whatever you want. All I can think of is the savage bard variant.

My first choice would be the Warchanter from CWarrior. Not exactly barbaric, but quite decent as a warrior. Also, iirc Dragon mags had the Battle Howler of Gruumsh, although as you can imagine it was somewhat... situational.
