This description is REALLY vague. Can I use it only on my own spells? Spells cast by an ally? Is it a free action or part of the spellcasting process? Or possibly swift? Can I use it multiple times on the same spell, burning additional bardic music? If I cast a spell that deals continuous damage, do I add the extra damage for the duration of the spell, or only when I first cast it? What about spells like Sonic Shield? Can I use this ability to make anyone striking me take 1d8 + 3d6 damage, or would it deal 3d6 damage to ME when cast? Does it work on spells that don't normally deal any damage? |
