Sorcerer goes to Theurge [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-02-07, 10:21 PM I recently came across a thread here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42866) that said Mystic Theurges don't grant new spells known to Sorcerers. That doesn't sound right at all. Can someone prove/disprove this?

05-02-07, 10:49 PM I think MT would work fine with sorcerer, and that the "+1 level of existing class" benefit is broad enough to include spells known.

I wouldn't say that is provable from the text, but many other PrCs seems to use the same language. So you'd be ruling out sorcs as arcane tricksters or eldritch knights too.
