+speed bonus PrCs? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-09-07, 01:59 AM Besides the Wild Runner (RotW), what other PrCs give a bonus to speed, I'm looking for non-enhancement bonuses.

I'm building a Living Greyhawk character based primarily on speed (And jump secondary, since speed gives a bonus to jump). My Build so far it;
Snow Elf (got the card)
Scout 1
Cleric 1 (Correlon Larenthan: Celerity and Magic domains-+10)
Scout
Scout (+10 speed)
Scout (Endurance as bonus feat)
Wildrunner 1) (+!0 speed)
Wildrunner 2) (PRimal Scream and scent)
Barbarian 1) RAge & +10 move speed.

For a total of 70 feet per round at level 8 (or level 7 if I take the other level of wildrunner later).

REmember I'm building for Greyhawk so psionics and some stuff is right out. Also enhancement bonuses do not stack with scout's fast movement.

For (non-bonus) feats I'm taking Track, Run, Agile Athlete and Leap of the HEavens. Any othe feats worth looking at? (the +5 bonus from Dash dosn't interest me since the bonus from jump is only at every even 10, so 5 feet isn't worth the feat)

My Jump bonus at level 8 is going to be +35. (+16 from movement speed +13 from ranks, +6 from dexterity (Agile athlete)) +another 9 more between Run and LEap of the HEavens if I have a running start.

Not only that, the character can track and find/disable traps (sometimes missing in LG parties). I can also use Cleric and Wizard wands (thanks to 1 level cleric and magic domain) I plan to use a bow, so no precise shot can hurt me a little bit but oh well.

08-09-07, 02:42 AM I think that the OA Blade Dancer gets an inherent bonus to movement speed, but I'm not sure of that. Unfortunately, monk bonuses are all enhancement (weird; I thought they were inherent bonuses).

08-10-07, 03:41 PM Dervish, from Complete Warrior, gives some speed bonuses, but if you're going ranged then the rest of the class is probably wasted.
Otherwise, there's the Dash feat.

08-10-07, 03:47 PM not sure if it complies with your build, but shapeshift druid gets predator form with speed 50 at level 1... (shapeshift is a swift action.)

The animal lord in Complete Adventurer can get up to +20 movement, granted for a limited time each day, with the horse totem.
