| Flay Crimsonwind05-28-07, 12:18 AM | Um, might be a stupid thing I'm overlooking, but where is the listed starting gold for a Swashbuckler? Or for that matter, any of the classes in Complete Warrior? It doesn't seem to be included in the class description...... |
| strenoth05-28-07, 04:25 AM | Find an appropriate class in the PHB, use that. This is soemthign they forget to put in quite often |
| X0_Lt_0X05-28-07, 04:40 AM | considering this asking about starting gold.................. how much gold should i give a LVL 4 Wizard assum that she progressed very slowly as a wizard due to the fact that she mainly studyed at a arcane university (not much monster killing) by the way shes a Petal:) oh and as for your question probably the same as a fighter |
| Kalarus05-28-07, 07:29 AM | I think the Swashbuckler's starting gold was either errata'd or addressed in the FAQ. I forgot what it was but I do recall reading it in one of those. The starting gold for a L4 Wizard should simply be wealth by level guidelines (so 5400 gp), or else compensate for that very quickly while playing unless you want to play a low treasure campaign. Ask yourself: What did the Wizard do to get to L4 (since there are no "studying for xp" rules anywhere)? Did he perhaps make a significant arcane discovery? Sell personally created spells? Set up a business venture in alchemy? When you find out where he got his xp from, you likely found a source of income to match it. |
