(My first homebrew PrC, for my first homebrew race :D )
(an attempt to make vampires more playable)

Bloodshifters are a sect of the church or Nul'Cet that emulates Atavism. They are druids who embrace the predatory, the parasitic and the brutal. They are permanent outsiders, not even welcome in Nilthucian society. Many live alone, feeding off the strong of the herd to strengthen themselves. However others can only appreciate the blood of sentient beings, and stalk the city streets for their next meal, be they human, Nilthucian or otherwise.

Requirements
Alignment: CN, LN, NE or TN.
Race: Nilthucian. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=855272)
Feat: Channel Negativity.
Special: Wild shape ability.
Must kill a medium sized animal (or humanoid :evillaugh ) without magic and drink it's blood.

Class Skills
The Bloodshifter's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (nature and religion) (Int), Listen (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), Spot (Wis), and Survival (Wis).
Skill Points at 1st Level: (4 + Int modifier) x 4.

Spells per Day
On even levels a Bloodshifter gains new spells and increased caster level as though she gained a level in the divine class which she previously belonged.

Vampiric Resistance
While wild shaping, the Bloodshifter gains 5 points of energy resistance to cold and electricity.

Wilding
Bloodshifter and Druid levels stack to determine wildshape abilities and wild empathy checks.

Blood Drinker (Ex): Regardless of their form, a Bloodshifter can suck blood from a living victim with its fangs by making a successful grapple check. If it pins the foe, it drains blood, dealing 1 point of Constitution drain each round the pin is maintained. On each such successful attack, the Bloodshifter gains 1 temporary hit point.

Vampiric Durability
While wild shaping, the Bloodshifter gains DR/5 silver.

Vampiric Wild Shape
Bloodshifters can use up one of their uses of wild shape to take on the abilities of vampires. They retain their original shape, speech and possessions, but take on a hardened, predatory look. They retain their original ability scores, but take the following adjustments: Str +6, Con +2, Dex +4, Int +2, Wis +2, Cha +4. They gain a climb speed, a slam attack for 1d6 (treated as magic for DR purposes), and +6 natural armor. They gain a +8 racial bonus on Bluff, Hide, Listen, Move Silently, Search, Sense Motive, and Spot checks.

Vampiric Vitality
While wild shaping, the Bloodshifter gains fast healing 3.

If you are going to give them the ability to get all vampire. Make sure to add in the penalties. Sun bad.

well one of the main points of this here is "all of their strengths, none of their weaknesses" thing.
Vampire weaknesses are to crippling for PCs.
I just want to know if it's balanced.

Its probably about as close as it can to being a vampire without being overpowered. Some people may find a problem with the blood draining and vampiric wild shaping abilities. It looks good for the most part to me. However, personally if it were my class, I would change the name to something with a little more flavor.

I know I suck at naming things.

"Blood Shifter?"

A little cliche, but it's better than what I got.
A :cookie: for Kel, sorry if it's a little stale :P

No Self-Respecting Druid will kill an animal. . .people yes, animals no. Change the Preq. to require an intelligent (3 or up) victim.

No Self-Respecting Druid will kill an animal.

I'd have to disagree. Unless your playing the PETA version of a druid, your going to being wearing a suit of leather with something of a career in hunting. non-vegan druids see themselves as part of the food chain, and it's perfectly understandable to hunt animals and be hunted by them. Bloodshifters just see themselves as the parsitic side of the foodchain.
