Tried this on CharOP and was advised here was a better spot.
This has been dead a little while but I've re jigged it a little and think it's balanced now PRC
Balanced enough?The Iron Mind

Maneuvers- 2 Maneuvers and 1 strike Including 1 Diamond mind and one Iron Heart manuvere
Manifesting- Must be able to manifest 2nd lvl powers
Feat- Instant Clarity

Maneuvers: You gain manuveres and stances from either the Diamond Mind or Iron heart schools at the same rate as a JPM.

Diamond Focus- Your Mental Mastery and Diamond Mind training gives you an unwavering focus when concentrating. You add ½ your Diamond Saint class levels as a bonus on concentration checks.

Power Knowledge- As you advance as an Iron Mind your understanding of movement in space improves. At each level indicated you learn one additional Psychoportation power from either the Psychoportation or Psion/Wilder power list of up to the highest level you can cast.

Iron Mind Study-Your dedication and Focus on learning the Iron Heart and Diamond Mind Disciplines pays off. Similar to a Martial adepts ability to swap manuveres every 4thg level, you may at 6th and 10th level exchange one manuvere known to learn a new manuvere from either the Iron Heart or Diamond Mind Discipline.

Iron Mind Focus- at tenth level you have reached the pinnacle of your training. You add +2 damage to any diamond mind or iron heart strike and +2 to the save DC, if any.

Combat Early on in the class you likely continue to fight as you did before you joined primarily manifesting if your were a Psion or getting into mellee often if you were an initiatior who discovered a little Psionic talent. As you advance you begin to meld your varied talents into a seemless fighting style. Your peference for skill over brute force means you relish demonstrating your martial superiority, look for the most skilled amongst your enemies and show him his better. You are not flashy however, unusual trait for a warblade, show is nothing, victory everything, use your Diamond Mind and Iron Heart Strikes to defeat your foe quickly and move on before your allies get hurt. Karathsi, the famous Kalashtar who pioneered this style was notorias for encircling himself and enemies in a wall of ectoplasm to ensure no interruptions whilst he dispatched his mightiest foes. His fellows would often stand mouth agape after he'd fell an opponent in two swift moves and return to melle without so much as a cry of victory.

By 20 you have 8th level powers (which can be augmented to 9th) enough pp (16th level manifester) as you won't be manifesting EVERY round. At least one good save or suck vs ref, fort, will
1 8th level manuvere

Start play like any Psi, rely heavily on Astral Constructs and Energy Missile. When you take Warblade 1, use offensive Precog and Heavy armour to make you survivable in Melle. After that your powers are a mix of personal buffs to toughen you and use you Matrial Strikes, the rest of your powers are a good mix of blasting and save or suck.

Two things: 1) clean it up (use code tags)
2) why did you make this PrC again?

Now, since it is clean enough for me to understand it thoroughly, OMG overpowered. If only for the free quicken it gives you at level 2. Everything else looks pretty awesome. Great idea, and I haven't seen it before. But Psychic mobility is waaaaaay overpowered. If you had stipulations that said that you may not manifest a second power while doing so, then maybe. But it is still overpowered.

Psychic Recovery is also quite powerful. Basically it increases the number of PP per day by quite a bit (by level 20 it can be as high as 60 if you wanted it). All you need is the competence bonus rings. And that's just for one activation, if you do it all three times, that's 180 bonus PP.

Supreme focus stance is not powerful at all. It gives you overchannel. Woohoo. That's nothing compared to the doubling that the level 2 stance gives you.

Now for a little more book keeping: I don't know what JPM is (actually, I do, but you know what I mean, others might not), so you'll have to write out what the progressions are in the table.

These are some nice ideas you got going here, a well done blend of martial adept and psychic manifester, but the execution just is off. Psychic Mobility needs to be toned waaaaaay down, the other stance needs to be boosted up, and they need to be switched in order, and psychic recovery needs a small tone down.

Okay, will edit today. Back later.
Idea off the class was to be a hit n run style martial adept, hence the low HP and lack of defensive special ability. Good advice on Psi Mob. I only use it to manifest on the run before making a martial strike. Will word it to lock the class into this.

No, what I meant was, were you trying to make a PrC for a specific character? Because that's a no-no.

And it's still free quicken. Heck, if played properly it's free quicken and a swift action power. I understand what you were trying to do, but it doesn't work like that. Give me a bit to come up with other possible options.

No the prc wasn't designed to be for a one off char. Entry req are fairly easy (Like JPM)- the Jade Phoenix Mage was a balance comparison.

How exactly is Psi Mob too powerful -it's basically a Psi-version of the Mobile Spellcasting feat from Complete Adventurer?

Supreme Focus is not supposed to be uber. It and psychic recovery are only designed to allow you to augment powers decently. It was needed because unlike arcane spells psi powers don't freescale. A mage giving up caster levels effectively still gets 'power points' because the damage still increases. Practised Manifester is nowhere near as good as Practised Caster for this reason. Overchannel was the stance ability because of flavor. I love the whole 'Psion concentrates so hard, nose and ears start to bleed.

I will switch the levels you gain them.

RANT TIME!!
You used your third post to regale us with the tale of the character you made with this PrC (not that optimized, btw, you need to get rid of the SS and Crus levels for more manifesting, and the powers known aren't the offensive ones, which work well for psi gishes). When something like this happens, I just assume that you had a neat character concept and it didn't work, since there was no PrC for maneuvers and powers. So you thought "Hey, I'll make one!" But see, this never works. Any PrC must be created to fill a concept, just not a "this one character that I thought up" concept. So my point is this: every thing you make must be able to fit many characters, not just one, and must be made to show it. This is especially true of base classes: specialization is for PrCs. Don't make the "this is Chad" class, which basically dictates your every action and reaction, and even your friends. You didn't do this with this class, but I feared that you were trying to, so I had to ask. It came out well, but the meaning came off wrong./rant.

No, it's not anything like it. This one lets you do a power as a move action, thus letting you also take a standard action and a swift action still. Mobile spell casting does it as a standard action, thus denying you a second standard action. Mobile spellcasting lets you move while casting, this lets you cast while moving.

Please give it something else too! Or just change it to this:

Supreme Focus Stance: A diamond saint of at least second level learns this stance. While in the Supreme Focus Stance, he gains a bonus to concentration checks equal to 1/2 his initiator level, and the powers he manifests are automatically augmented by an amount equal to 1/6 manifester level. This augmentation is in addition to the normal amount allowed up to manifester, so a ML 20 psion with IL 20 could manifest at 23 ML. The extra power points do not need to be paid by the manifester, they are automatically paid for by this stance.

Basically this is wildsurge, but without enervation, and a bonus to concentration. I know I didn't word that very well.

Now, for psychic recovery, it is too powerful. I don't care that not all powers freescale (some do, you know, at least partway). It's (by level 20) 180 (23 ranks, +5 for the focus, +1 ioun stone, +6 con (probably more)+15 ring all x3. The ring can go up to +30 before it's epic.) or so free PP per day. You'll note that every ability giving temporary PP costs a LOT. So, might I suggest this instead: okay I don't really have anything right now. But I'll get to it.

Now, something I've been meaning to tell you: strikes are maneuvers.
Also, put the ML progression in the table, and use code tags. That's {code}table{/code}, with the {} replaced with []. Put the IL progression there too. And separate the saves and BAB more. If you want an example, look at one of the PrCs I made, they all have tables.

Now, make the maneuvers known prereq 5, at least 2 diamond mind maneuvers. This will assure 3 levels each of warblade and psion. Now, it assures only one level of swordsage, but that's fine, I see this as more a warblade/psion than a swordsage/psychic warrior. Also make it 4 ranks in knowledge (psionics).

Hey first thing there is ALWAYS those people :heehee who have all kinds of negative things to say but Nothing useful to add(check out my Daggerspell Psion thread, not a single solitary helpful post.)

Here is my two coppers, Supreme Focus is not really all that useful why dont you add Psyhic Meditation? That is very concentration related feat. Then when you reduce the other down to a standard action like the Mobile Spellcasting feat. You move and cast, then regain focus as a move action. Go Greater Psyhic Weapon! You will still have a swift action to spend so you move, cast 2 powers, and regain focus. Nothing that couldnt be done with 2 feats anyway to anyone screaming Broken. Also instead of manifest 2nd lvl powers, what about ML 5th instead? A PsyWar as to spend 4 lvls to get there, that would really hurt his SS initor level(Since that is a class that pays wis. instead of intelligence like WB.) Also, this is in no way really important but it is customary for the req. feat to be from PHB. I have never seen a feat requirement from any other book. Well I hope this was in any way helpful.

Respect
Nathan

P.S. Maybe you could check out my changes of the daggerspell psion special ablities and see what you think. Later.

Altered Supreme focuse but it's kinda free PP again aint it. Table didn't work, not sure why.

Didn't realise the difference with mobile spellcasting -will alter if someone else says it's unbalanced as well. I'm currently playing with the char posted (unaltered-Psi Mob at 2nd level, Overchannel at 6th) and he doesn't seem to be overpowered. As to the optimisation, I took Crus one because as you can see my IL allowed some GREAT manuveres at that level (Crus free recovery is great) and SS1 was from weighing 3 8th level manuveres vs 1 8th level power known. Guess I'm leaning more for mellee.

This is an example of the class being able to go 2 directions -your version would be more of a primary manifester, the demo char uses Sublime way ALWALYS if situation allows (for the mooks) and will only Psi-where nessecary, saves PP for BBEG. Prefers single combat with tough mellee baddies and if can will buff with Off, Def Precog, Alloyed Hyde and Metamorphosis (War troll is good), then debuff with Inflict Pain (not augmented) and entangling ectoplasm (if time allows), First Offensive Power is Brutalise Wounds (Hypercon- basically save of EVERY attack melle, ranged, or Magic does MAX DD) then proceeds to kick tail with sublime way.

Was considering retraining out empower for Delay power so he could have multiple powers go off in the same round, not sure yet.

Offtopic, Supreme focus is changed for now but I'm not sure if your version is overpowerd- at least overchannel costs pp and hurts you (balanced verses increased ML)

and in your examples for Psy recovery you are including ioun stones and magic bonuses to con- the description clearly states that if the check is D20+ your ranks + diamond focus+ natural con only. It CANNOT be modified by any spell, power or item that would grant a bonus to the check.
Assuming 16 Con a level 20 char (max ranks)
would get 24+3+5+D20 (assume 10 for av.)= 42 equals average max 126 temp pp. In a build with ML as high as poss (16 off top of my head) this is still down alot of PP on a straight caster.
Whatsmore if I were to stick with your version of Supreme focus (despite a possible nerf to Psi recovery) it would add even more to the check, free 2 or 3 pp per manifestation plus extra concentration bonus -cancelling the nerf.......

Are you implying that I have aall sorts of negative things to say and nothing useful? If so, I take offense to that. I do nothing of the sort ever, I am trying to help get this great idea for a class usable as a really balanced class. You'll note that after every criticism I provide various ways of fixing it (not for Psy Rec yet, that one's hard to keep the flavor that way). I may come across strong, and if I do, I appologize, but that's how I am. Also, I do not necessarily believe that some of these things are as powerful as I suggest, I am merely trying to get the OP to think about every possible abuse, and minimize them. Everything I say is a suggestion, not a demand, even if it reads like one. A suggestion on how to make the class more readable, balanced, and usable. NOT a flame or a slam.
dman11235

You need a "/" before the code in the end code. So it's [/code] at the end. Remember when making it that it counts characters for its spacing, not the actually size of said characters.

Now, your character may be balanced, but I'm trying to make sure that there's as little room for abuse as possible. For power based characters as opposed to maneuver based, that's currently a lot. They kind of had this problem with the Abjurant Champion as well.

Sorry also realised your version of supreme focus doesn't really offer anything to Wilders unless Wild surge stacks with it in which case it's overpowered because it would add 6 free pp to each Manifestation a Wilder made in a day....

For Psions it's better than overchannel but offers no drawback (no pp used, no enervation), basically it's a free 3pp boost to every power whilst the stance is maintained (real abuse is in manifesting useful low level powers- get alot more uses eg say a char has 300pp per day -all used for 3rd level powers 300/5pp= 60 3rd level manifestations (all augmented to 4th level for free equals 120free pp (60x2).Powers costing more will get less uses.

That would be in addition to Psi recovery.....
Overchannel could boost ML the same (capped a 3 whereas the 'surge version' is not) but costs extra pp to do so and damages you in the process.

Really sorry but I think I may just stick with overchannel, unless anyone has another idea.

By the way Psi Mob has been worded so as not to allow a second manifestation in a round.

Have you considered *not* giving better manifester benefits than anarchic initiate in a gish prestige class? Gish PrCs are give and take. You give up some casting/manifesting for some melee capability. I'd completely cut out anything that gives extra PP or ML if you want something balanced. Losing power points and ML is part of being a gish. Just get over it and remember that you are an initiater that can manifest powers, not a psion.

Wow, yeah... thanks for the negative feedback dude. Now if you'd like to suggest an alternative replacement? Considering the JPM was getting free empowers, raised Caster levels and free quickens (all a psi equivalent to free PP)

I suppose a more direct COPY (which was not the intent) would be to give the class a free empower (2pp per encounter), free quicken (6pp per encounter) and raise ML by 1 for Psi Mob (in a freescale arcane type of raised ML- 2pp augment per manifestation. RE: JPM CL raised by one there for increased effect- usually 1 or 2 die per CL)
and raise it by 3 for DD energy powers, fire only, (6pp augment permanifestation)

A Diamond Saint using this model could effectively get (in 10rds of combat) over 60 free pp if he wanted to blast. More likely around 30 to 40 pp because he'd mix up manifesting and using manuveres, the mechanic I've suggested would only be usable 3 times per day at level 10 and it's temp pp -Using the JPM's mechanic would effectively be free pp for every encounter with no time limit.

Not only would it not be a boring, unorigonal copy- Jade Phoenix Psion. the Mechanic is messy, inflexable and effectively more free pp (not temporary) than either of the ideas already posted.

I've demonstrated the JPM (being arcane) effectively gets free pp- in that we all know because of freescaling an incrfeased CL increases damage/duration/effect in some way. A simple increase in ML does NOT
have an equal effect because psi powers don't freescale

The purpose was to create an equivilant ability (ie equally powerful) that had it's own flavor. Your suggestion of not giving increased ML because it's a gish class means the JPM shouldn't get it either and I've heard nothing but praise for the class because of how balanced that is. Why does having a Psi Gish with a stance based ML increase (with a Penalty- since it's only overchannel) suddenly broken?
dman11235

01-20-08, 06:26 PM
Hey, Katash, he's not trying actively to be mean, but you should listen to him. You can't treat psionics like magic. It is a different system altogether. Something that might work with magic (increased CL) might not do so well with psionics. Increased PP is a LOT more powerful than increased CL. CL just ups some stuff, extra PP is like more spells. And the overchannel part was the underpowered part of your class. The parts that were too powerful were the +100 PP per day and the (now fixed) free quicken.
archerpwr

01-20-08, 06:49 PM
Stuff

Where to begin?

1) Diamond Mind and Iron Heart are *way* more powerful than desert wind (just a worthless school) and devoted spirit (Devoted spirit healing strikes are kind of lame when you could just be spending less actions on minor shapeshift)
2) Arcane Wrath is weaker than Arcane Strike (CW).
3) Rite of Waking-flavorful, but easily ignored
4) Mystic Phoenix Stance-Most spells (but not powers) are capped. The few that are uncapped and worth increasing CL for are very hard to get into an effective JPM build. MPS is a nice perk, but ignorable when you have other stances.
5) 1/Encounter empower *if* you successfully hit with a strike the previous round. This requires you to be initiating a healing strike, which means no full attacks. Subpar.
6) Firebird Stance-Absolutely worthless when compared to other stances
7) Quicken 1/Encounter-Decent. You get another buff up quickened once you are already in melee.
8) Emerald Immolation-This is a really nice get out of jail free card once per week. This and quickening strike are the only worthwhile abilities in the entire PrC besides IL and CL.

As you can see, the first 7 levels of JPM are completely devoid of useful class abilities. Let's compare that with yours (I'll skip past the schools, since I addressed that above):
Level 1) Free PP? Holy fricken crap! Bonus to the skill that the bonus PP are based off of? Double holy fricken crap!
Level 2) Meh. I took overchannel at level 3.
Level 4) More free PP! Yes please!
Level 6) This is just badly written. Make an actual reference to mobile spellcasting, because as is it is a free quicken every round.
Level 8) OMG! More free PP? I love this class!
Level 10) Meh. Not that much use for this. At least I got more IL and ML

New version gone becuase it didn't fit the flavor of the origonal class
archerpwr

01-20-08, 10:56 PM
Okay, for starters sorry if i came off short my last post. Though I'm loathe to do it how about this: (please keep in mind I'm trying to keep the flavor origonal NOT a Jade Phoenix Psion but I feel I need to replecate the increased CL JPM gets so the stance related abilites will be very close to the JPM's effects)

Lvl1 Bonded Psicrystal- Your connection with your Psicrystal is far stronger than ordinary Psychics, you can now share powers with your Psicrystal at a distance of 30ft, normal rules for your Psicystal exceeding allowed distance apply. You gain know benefit for this ability if you do not posses a psicrystal.(This is a Copy of the Bonded familiar feat)
This is fine. Rather flavorful.

LV1 Psicrystal Sidekick- The DS sees his Psicrystal as more than a fragment of himself. It is a friend, sounding board, critic and coach. Diamond Saint continue to advance psicrystal abilities further and infact emphasise having them. Your Psicrystal special abilities are calculated as your Base Psion or Wilder class level plus your Diamond saint level Plus 3 (Similar to the beastmaster's animal compaion ability)

This is unneeded. The psicrystal affinity feat determines PC abilities by all psionic classes. Diamond saint is a psionic class because it requires power points.

Lvl2Psicrystal Conduit Stance- As a swift action you can forego the benefit of a diamond mind stance and assume the Psychic Mobility Stance. While you use this ability you and your psicrystal resonate with psionic power, your ML increases by 1 and the cost of manifesting any power you know is reduced by 2. You cannot reduce the cost of a power to less then 1 nor can you use this ability to manifest a power at a ML higher than your new maximum would allow. This ability only works when you and your psicrystal are in physical contact with one another.

Too much. This just begs for bestow power shenanigans. Don't put anything in a gish PrC that directly assists manifesting.

Endowing Strike- Beginning at 4th level, when you successfully attack an enemy with a martial strike, a psionic power you manifest before the end of your next turn is manifest as though affected by the Psionic Endowment feat. manifesting a power through use of this ability does not increase the effective level of the power you manifest, nor do you need to expend your focus to use this ability or even have the feat yourself. It cannot be used in conjunction with the Psionic or Gtr psionic endowmnet feats. You may use this ability once per encounter.

Just make a note about it not expending your focus.

lvl6 Supreme Focus Stance- A diamond saint of at least second level learns a new application for use of his diamond mind stances. While in a diamond mind stance he may as a swift action forego the benefit of the stance and assume the Supreme focus stance, while using this stance you gain the benefits of the Overchannel feat. In addition you may upon adopting the stance impart knowledge of one of your powers to your Psicrystal. The Psicrystal is able to take a standard action to manifest one power you know (up to a max of a 3rd level power) using your pool of PP and can even augment it up to your ML. This ability lasts as long as your psicrystal is within 30ft of you and you mantain the stance, you may not manifest the power given to your psicrystal yourself for as long as you use this ability.
I like this. Seems good.

lvl8 Quickening Strike-Starting at 8th level when you successfully attack an enemy with a martial strike, a Psionic power of 5th level or lower that you manifest before the end of your next turn is quickened (as by the quicken power metapsionic feat). Manifesting a power that has been quickened by use of this ability does not increase the effective level of power manifest. You can augment this power as normal. You may use this ability once per encounter.

Just note that it doesn't expend your focus.

Lvl10 Persistant Concentration- at 10th level you have become so proficient at concentration you can have it persist for 5 rounds after taking an action that would normally cause you to cease it. For example if you are maintaining a concentration power, such as energy wall, and take an attack action, the power will continue to function for 3 more rounds.
You cannot resume control of the power once you have ceased concentrating. The power merely continues the effect for 3 rounds, mobile powers requiring concentration to move, continue to function but simply remain in place for 5 rounds.

I assume you are just changing the extended time from 3 to five rounds? Looks good.

How's this- not sure if Psicrystal Conduit Stance is overpowered? if so i could make it that only powers with a duration of concentration are manifest at reduced cost.
As a rule gish PrCs do not directly help casting/manifesting.

Here are my initial thoughts on the class as presented in the first post. I have not yet evaluated the features you proposed further down.

Instant clarity:
While this feat is reasonably related to the theme of the class, it seems like it could stand to be more integrated with the class features. You might consider increasing the number of times per day the feat can be used as a function of class level.

Psychic recovery:
This is an unnecessarily convoluted mechanic. Instead of spending so much effort making sure it doesn’t work like a normal concentration check, wouldn’t it be easier to just make it something other than a concentration check? If it were a manifester level check, for example, it would scale with level and there would be no need to worry about the myriad ways of boosting skills into the stratosphere.

You don’t seem to be considering how this would play out for non-psions. A 7th level psychic warrior has 15 power points. A 5th level psychic warrior / 1st level warblade / 1st level diamond saint has 7 power points. When he uses psychic recovery, he has 10 ranks, expends his psionic focus to take 15 on the check, and has a base constitution modifier of (let’s say) 3. This gives him 28 extra power points. He effectively has 35 power points instead of the 15 he would have by sticking with psychic warrior.

What I’m trying to say is I think the value of bonus power points varies too much between builds to be a viable class feature.

Diamond focus:
Since the bonus is zero at first level, the feature should be listed at second level.

Psychic Mobility Stance:
This is still basically a free quicken. It limits you to using a strike along with it, but that’s not much of a limitation. It also allows you to “quicken” powers you would not normally be able to quicken (due to the 6 extra power points normally required), does not expend your focus, and does not use up your swift action.

Persistent Concentration:
You should consider granting this ability incrementally, first one round, then two, and finally three. As an alternative, you could have an ability that allows you to initiate a diamond mind maneuver and maintain concentration on a power as part of the same action if you succeed on a concentration check.

Okay, I didn't like my own rehash because it changed the flavor too much.
Lets try to get back to the origonal feel.

Psi recovery is back but archerpwr
I'm gonna follow your advice from the psi forum and make the bonus pp equl to half the check.

Diamond Focus applies to manifesting powers only.

Psi Mob is back but toned down ALOT wanted it to be kinda like swift abjuration class feature of Abj Champ. Currently running with 3rd level or lower powers. If this is overpowered how about only allowing personal powers to be used with this ability- that way it makes it more defensive like the Abj champ's swift abj.

Sumpreme focus -which everyone said was underpowered has been replaced with Delay Power- a much better choice and fits Diamond Mind flavor -it's not overpowered as is, or does it still need to incur the 2 pp cost?

Thoughts, comments?

Archerpwr, it's been remodded- NO Free PP. Is it okay now? Still plays like a glass cannon (been using it this last week). The 2 added psycoport. powers keep flavor and add mobiliy to the char- especially inconstant location. Been teleporting as a swift action up to bad dude, using a strike then moving away.

I'm having to watch my pp use still but, since it's now a 16th level manifester and not a 14th level one it made Psychic recovery a moot point. Generally using Psionics for the noobs and sublime way for BBEG.

From the trenches,
we are currently playing at 13th lvl for real but the DM was kind enough to have a side adventure where we were trying to free a Kalashtar spirit from a Powerful Psychics Nightmare- in said dream we all were advanced to 20th lvl.
(he was 1. playtesting the new prc and 2. giving us a taste of high level play)

We all loved it. Now in combat we faced an assortment of enemies you don't normally find -half demon unicorn's and psudonatural creature's etc. Main tactics I guess still hinge on power and manuvere selection though. Especially since the Prc class features expand your repatiore.

I was mainly using Eyes of the Basilisk to save PP and have an effect against a Quori Telepath 10/Thrallheard 10, and minions (took out nerly all of significant caster/manifester type minions who'd already had magical protection versus the Delayed blast fireballs our MT/TN was throwing at them)

Had Probability Mantle help me make saves versus hostile spells/powers (unfortunately got taken to single digit HP a couple of times- big thanks to Iron Heart Endurance and our RKV's rallying strike).

Part I loved was th Frost Giant Frenzied Beserker I got in a one on one with after our MT/TN was forced to wake up so no grease. Metamorphed into a War troll (for regen and high AC) and whupped ass with GIS and War Leader's Charge.

Said Thrall heard was the BBEG and in the end was taken out by our MON using a Strike of Perfect clarity after I'd Dispelled a few protections. Tried to use Dreams Fatal Embarce but DM ruled it didn't work as we were already in dream and were really fighting a dream figment. I got taken out (woke up)by a Power Word Kill from his thrall (who'd convieniently remained invisible and undetected) before the final hit though. MON and RKV and JPM freed the Kalashtar.

In the end was a great session (even though we netted bugger all XP as 1. the challenges were at our (adjusted) level and 2 it wasn't 'real'.
Psychic who'd been having the nightmare's was greatful though and now trusts us enough to put us on the trail of the annulus.....

I like the final version. Nice class features without being something to take on a full manifester. Just so you know though, metamorphosis doesn't give regen. Only attacks are gotten. If you're talking about greater metamorphosis then you shouldn't have been stuck in war troll form and should have been something stronger (like chrono-whatever it is that gets double actions in fiend folio).

Glad you like the final version,

No wasn't using Gtr Metamorphosis, Always figured War Troll's regen was included as part of physiology- s'okay though I don't generally use that form. Big humanoids are my fav, basically unless I'm after a particular spell like ability I use big type humanoids 'cause we figured I couldn't use Sublime way in a radically different body. Unfortunately won't have access to Gtr Metamorphosis pre -epic, build only gets 8th level powers.

Power list pretty well optimised? Thought my selections were the best from XPHB, Com Psi and Hyperconscious.
Still haven't made lvl 20 so unsure which manuvere I'll take, unless I can think of a way to get high damage with listed powers/feats/abilities with DNB I'll probably take Lightning Throw or Adamantine Hurracane.

I don't recognize half the powers on there, but you're missing a couple of gish standards. If you'd like to optimize I'd be fine with helping you with feats and power selection on the psionics board (you'll get better help on feats and powers over there than the CO board). The prestige class board isn't exactly the right place to discuss builds.

Okay I'll move it to the Psi Board...
