The lords of the multiverse: Divine Eyes. [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-07, 11:55 AM Divine Eyes are basically a group of people who ensure that the contracts between gods are held. This means that divine eyes are as powerful, if not more powerful, than the gods themselves. I have no idea how to impliment this class, so anyone have any good ideas?

Then, why wouldn't this class be able to turn other class's powers against them? They would, wouldn't they. So, this class is above all mortals and gods.

If they can only use this ability against the gods, the gods could still simply ignore them so they have nothing to use against the gods anyway. I.e. gods won't listen to them. Hack, gods don't even listen to other gods. So, in the end, you can't make a PrC out of such a overpowering idea. But you can make a super powerful NPC uber deity that might be able to do that.

Mind you, immortal should at least be epic, and thus if this class can be created at all, it has to be epic. Even then, comparing to all other epic PrC's, a class that can directly rule over gods is just broken.

Just think of yourself as a deity. What would be the occasion that you'd listen to anyone else? How can a PrC be more potent than gods? What grants them the power to be greater than gods? If the PrC can gain such a power, why couldn't the gods? If the gods can't gain the power, what's stopping the gods from letting anyone else accessing this sort of power? Even LG gods wouldn't allow others to be more powerful than they are. So, the bottomline is, if you want to create this class, you first have to convince me where the PrC can get the power from. After all, gods hold the universal truths (portfolios) that govern the multiverse. What's even greater than that.
