Class Features These are the class features of the nightshade. Code: BAB Fort Ref Will Abilities Spells 1. +0 +0 +2 +2 Empower poison, assassin acuity 2. +1 +0 +3 +3 Vanish +1 level 3. +2 +1 +3 +3 Sudden metamagic 1/day 4. +3 +1 +4 +4 Uncanny dodge, +1d6 sneak +1 level Sneak attack 5. +3 +1 +4 +4 Quicken poison 6. +4 +2 +5 +5 Slight of magic 1/day +1 level 7. +5 +2 +5 +5 Poison immunity, +2d6 sneak attack 8. +6/+1 +2 +6 +6 Sudden metamagic 2/day +1 level 9. +6/+1 +3 +6 +6 Slight of magic 2/day 10.+7/+2 +3 +7 +7 Maximize Poison +1 level Empower Poison (SP): Blending her poison skills and her magic together a Nightshade may empower a single dose of poison. This dose of poison will then have a primary, secondary, and a tertiary effect. The tertiary effect is the same as the secondary effect and will take affect in the same amount of time as the secondary does. It is a full round action to Empower Poison. This ability may be used once a day. If this empowered dose of poison is not used within an hour it loses its potency. Assassin Acuity:The nightsades difficulty class for paralyzing and death attack continues to progress per level of nightshade. Vanish (SP): At second level a nightshade may cast on herself Hide from Undead, Sanctuary, Hide from Animals, Meld into Stone, Invisibility and Nondetection as an immediate action. Sudden Metamagic: Once a day at third level a nightshade may use the Sudden Silent or the Sudden Still feats. This ability increases to two times a day at 8th level. Uncanny Dodge (EX): At 4th level a nightshade retains her Dexterity bonus to her armor class even if she is caught flatfooted. If she already has uncanny dodge she gains improved uncanny dodge. Sneak Attack: AT 4th and 7th level the Nightshade gains an additional d6 to their sneak attack. Quicken Poison (SP): Further gaining skill in the art of poison crafting and magic, the Nightshade may now quicken a single dose of poison. This quickened dose changes all poison primary and secondary onset times to 'instant'. If stacked with empower poison however, the tertiary affect is not quickened. It takes a full round action to quicken poison. This ability may be used once a day. If this quickened dose of poison is not used within an hour it loses its potency. Slight of Magic (SP): Through training in being unseen, the Nightshade has learned how to stealth her spells. Once a day the Nightshade may cast a spell with no visual or auditory effects. This spell is not Still or Silenced as per the Feats, just the spell itself is not visible or audible. The after effects of the spell are however. Stealth spells may not be stacked with any other type of metamagic feats. The nightshade may use this ability twice a day at 9th level. Poison Immunity (EX): Though constant use of poison and magic a nightshade of 7th level becomes immune to all types of natural and magical poisons. Maximize Poison (SP): With her magic and poison use at its peak a 10th level nightshade may now maximize a single does of poison per day. The maximized poison does the maximum damage, if stacked with quicken or empower poison the tertiary effect is not maximized. It takes a full round action to maximize poison. This ability may be used once a day. If this maximized dose of poison is not used within an hour it loses its potency. |

| Genetic05-13-07, 12:10 AM | nice but i have one question/comment. can you have an ability (death attack) as a pre-req when its granted by a prc This particular prestige class is based off a core version of the assassin that he made. |
| ImtheDM05-13-07, 12:30 AM | Hi there, yeah this was based offa of a core I made, if you dont wanna use the core, just drop the prereq. it works out both ways level wise Nah Vanish isnt that powerful, I should tho make it limited or perhaps not last as long as the regular spell duration. ex per point of int bonus per day etc |
