Special Mount (Sp): At 1st level, a rein of thunder gains a special mount (see pages 44 & 45 of the Player’s Handbook). If a rein of thunder has a special mount from another class (such as paladin) his/her rein of thunder levels stack to determine the special abilities of his/her mount.

Mounted Attack (Ex): At 2nd level, a rein of thunder can attack the same round his/her mount makes an attack. If this is a full attack his/her special mount may not move more than the normal 5 feet.

Rapid Squall (Sp): Like a sudden and furious storm a rein of thunder is a frightening sight to behold in combat. Once per day at 3rd level, a rein of thunder may create a Fear effect during a charge action. All those within 10 feet of the rein of thunder during the charge must make a Will save (DC 10 + ½ the reins of thunder’s class level + his/her Cha modifier) or be frightened for 1d4 round plus ½ the rein of thunders class level round down. An opponent(s) who succeeds his/her save are shaken 1d4 rounds. A rein of thunder must be mounted on his/her special mount in order to use this ability. A rein of thunder may use this ability 2/day at 6th level and 3/day at 9th.

Rolling Thunder (Ex): At 4th level, a rein of thunder is an unstoppable force when charging through ever the most stubborn opponent. Any opponent a rein of thunder attempts to Overrun while mounted may not block, furthermore a rein of thunder may now make an Overrun attempt against an opponent up to two size categories larger than him/herself. You may not combine this ability with a Full Mounted Attack (see below).

Steed of Lightning (Su): At 4th level, a rein of thunder’s special mount ads 10 to its base movement. A rein of thunders special mount gains an additional 10 feet to its movement at 10th level.

Mounted Defense (Ex): At 5th level, a rein of thunder may use the Mounted Combat feat to negate a successful attack on his/her mount one additional time per round.

Full Mounted Attack (Ex): At 7th level, a rein of thunder can now make a full attack action while his/her mount moves more than 5 feet but no further than a single move action. A rein of thunder cannot use this ability during a charge.

Mounted Critical (Ex): At 8th level, a rein of thunder treats all weapons he/she wields while mounted as if he/she has the Power Critical feat with that weapon, even if he/she dose not meet the requirements.

Changing Winds (Ex): At 8th level, a rein of thunder and his/her mount have become an unpredictable pair. During a charge a rein of thunder may make a single direction change of up to 90 degrees during a charge. A rein of thunder may only use this ability while mounted on his/her special mount.

The Storms Furry (Ex): At 10th level, a rein of thunder has mastered all he/she has learned about mounted combat. Three times per day a rein of thunder may use Rapid Squall, Rolling Thunder, Changing Winds and a Full Mounted Attack in the same round in which he/she charges (using this ability uses up a use of the Rapid Squall ability if used with this ability). After using this ability the rein of thunder and his/her special mount are fatigued and may not Charge or take a Run action for three rounds. Furthermore, both the rein of thunder and his/her special mount suffer a -2 penalty to their Strength for three rounds. A rein of thunder may only use this ability with his/her special mount.

A rein of thunder may use this ability 2/day at 6th level and 3/day at 9th.Ok this abiltiy make perminent. always on, etc. You can have either the dc increase, or rounds increase at 6th, and 9th. or you could even increase the range. also if you dont want this ability affecting allies state all opponents within 10.
Here, you contridict yourself. Instead you may want to state that this ability may only be used with the Full Mounted Attack ability when performing The Storms Furry ability. Even though you say see below, it still makes for a contridiction.
Full Mounted Attack (Ex): At 7th level, a rein of thunder can now make a full attack action while his/her mount moves more than 5 feet but no further than a single move action. A rein of thunder cannot use this ability during a charge. You state that this ability cannot be used as a part of a charge, but you still allow use during a charge with the ability The Storms Furry. Its a contridiction again. Instead say that this ability may only be used during a charge with The Storms Furry ability. That way there isnt a contridiction, and DMs are happy.
A rein of thunder may only use this ability with his/her special mount.Ok, If you change Rapid Squall to always on, then you dont need to state it here. Also if you change the wording on Rolling Thunder and Full Mounted Attack then you'll eliminate your contridiction. As for the uses, change it to Con mod uses per day. As for the penalty, simply say the Rein of Thunder is fatigued. and have the fatigued last longer, possibly for the rest of the encounter like the barbarian's rage ability.

Thank you very much for the critique it’s very helpful, here are the changes I made. I’m not always that good with wording so I’m wondering if this looks good thanks again.

Rapid Squall (Sp): Like a sudden and furious storm a rein of thunder is a frightening sight to behold in combat. During a charge action, a rein of thunder creates a Fear effect which affects all opponents within 10 feet of him/her self. An opponent within range must make a Will save (DC 10 + ½ the reins of thunder’s class level + his/her Cha modifier) or be frightened for 1d4 round plus ½ the rein of thunders class level round down. An opponent(s) who succeeds his/her save are shaken 1d4 rounds. A rein of thunder must be mounted on his/her special mount in order to use this ability. The range of Rapid Squall is increased to 20 feet at 6th level and 30 feet at 9th.

You may only use this ability with a Full Mounted Attack while performing The Storms Furry (see below).

Full Mounted Attack (Ex): At 7th level, a rein of thunder can now make a full attack action while his/her mount moves more than 5 feet but no further than a single move action. A Full Mounted Attack may only be performed during a charge while using the The Storms Furry ability (see below).

The Storms Furry (Ex): At 10th level, a rein of thunder has mastered all he/she has learned about mounted combat. A number of times per day equal to his/her Con modifier a rein of thunder may use Rolling Thunder, Changing Winds and a Full Mounted Attack in the same round in which he/she charges. After using this ability the rein of thunder and his/her special mount are fatigued for the rest of the encounter. A rein of thunder may only use this ability with his/her special mount.

Much better, one more thing tho, The range on the Rapid Squall gets to be very big. Id say start at 10 and go up 5 ft each time. To a max of 20 feet. that way, your not causeing those far away to be fearful, specially if hes not even charging at them.

Cool that is always my biggest worry with my PrC's because I usually make them overpowered and then through the boards bring them down to "normal".

Thanks for the input all :)
