I just read through the prestige classes in Unapproachable East and the telflammar shadowlord interests me, both because of the discussion on the boards about it and because it seems pretty wicked. I feel that this prc should be made available, and useful to shadowcasters. In order to do this I would like to take out some class features and add in mystery advancement. It would look something like this:

Level Special Mysteries
1 shadowjump +1 mystery using class
2 shadow blur -
3 - +1 mystery using class
4 shadow pounce -
5 - +1 mystery using class
6 dark discorporation -

The pre-req's would be changed so that ability to cast 2nd level mysteries is one of them, maybe replacing sneak attack damage.

What do you think?

I'm not sure if we need to touch it. I don't know the mechanic of shadowcasting, but it's already a very feat-intensive PrC and I wonder if it needs any additional multiclassing. By the way, 3 levels of mysteries might be too little. Sure, it only has spellcasting up to lvl 3 now, but look at what spells it has at those levels and you can be rather surprised.

wow you have a good point. Maybe +1 at 1,2,4, and 5 or 1,2,3,5,6.

The shadowcasting doesn't require a feat so it doesn't change the feat-intensity. I'm just going to replace the 2d6 sneak attack pre-req for ability to cast 2nd level mysteries (which you can consider spellcasting if you don't know the system). I might also remove blind fight cuz I don't like it.
