| Seifalmasy07-01-07, 02:50 PM | Suppose I have a character with a few levels of Mystic Theurge (for sake of discussion, Clr 3/Wiz 3/Theurge 2). This character now takes a level of Divine Oracle (or any other prestige class with spellcasting which says "+1 level of existing class" without specifying arcane or divine). Can this character choose Theurge as the spellcasting class he advances, continuing to develop both his original spellcasting progressions? If not, what's the specific reason and where is it stated? Thanks for your time. |

As for were that is stated I'm sorry but I can't recall. If a class advance spellcasting and doesn't state which type that just means it can be used for either type. A wizard who can meet the Divine Oracle's prereqs can enjoy the class just as much (and possibly more) than a cleric. |
