ToM: Shadowblade prc question [Archive] - Wizards Community

I was just wondering what everyone thought of the shadowblade prestige class. Is it something worth playing? Also, what niche would the class best fit? I was thinking rogue initially but then I realised that it hasn't got the required skills etc to be an effective rogue. So, I guess that leaves a martial type ... but it only has rogue BAB. Any thoughts on how to change the class to be more effective or am I missing something? All thoughts/comments welcome.

Not a bad prc, if you know what you are doing. Enter necropolitan ASAP and you have free healing at 6th lv...:D

03-02-08, 09:56 PM Shadowblade, Tome of Magic pg. 129. Sorry, I don't know what sort of niche it best fits. A few other classes (like the ninja) also have sudden strike so it may synergize with them.

Mmmm ... good suggestion, however. The problem would be the lack of skill points and skills the shadowblade has.
