The uncanny trickster has the unique ability to continue another class's class features, but what about when it combines with other prestige classes?

For example, if I take 3 levels of Fortune's Friend, then 3 levels of Uncanny Trickster and choose to advance my Fortune's Friend class features, I can still technically take 2 more levels of Fortune's Friend. What would I get for doing so? Duplicate abilities? Nothing at all?

I believe the sage or FAQ recently ruled that the benefit, like that of Legacy Champion, may only be applied to a base class, not a prestige class. This, while one of the highly contested rulings that essentially adds text in an errata-esque fashion, does serve to prevent the skew of abuses based out of continuing prestige classes past their predesigned limits.

So currently, officially, it won't work.
