Unseen Seer? [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-02-07, 08:35 PM I was considering playing an Unseen Seer in an upcoming campaign and I was just wondering what everyone thinkgs of the class. Is it over/under powered? I'm looking for a caster type rouge thing and I thought this class would work great. Am I wrong?

05-03-07, 11:07 AM I think it is a good class too. I would say its signature ability is the Advanced Learning.

It is a good alternative to the Arcane Trickster for a rogue/caster.

05-05-07, 03:46 AM I didn't like it very much, I certainly did not like my caster level for non divination spells going DOWN as you gain levels in the class.

05-05-07, 05:03 PM It's very good. The loss of caster levels for non-divination spells can easily by made up with Practiced Spellcasters. It's also easy to get into and is a good way to lead into Arcane Trickster.

05-07-07, 10:14 AM Practiced Spellcaster does make up for the caster-level hit, and since youd want at least one level of rogue anyway, its a feat youd already have on your list, I think.

I was looking to combine AT with Unseen Seer, use it to qualify for AT with the loss of only one wizard level, but the skill points. So many skill points.
