I'm running a campaign and have a player taking the Walker In the Waste prestige class. I don't have any problem with this except there seems to be no rules written for the "Create Salt Mummy." Does anybody know how create salt mummy works?

I do have time to figure this out as the player only just took her first level in Walker, but I would like to know before she gains the ability.

Hm doesn't seem there are any rules, it just says "you can create a salt mummy," and under salt mummy it basically just says "this is one bad motha." So I'd say just use something reasonable, I might even say a small gp investment wouldn't be uncalled for.

Well I e-mail customer service about this and her is what I got.

"Beyond the fact that you may create a salt mummy, there is unfortunately, no further rules for this. Based on the entry given for the example character, the limit for creating such creatures is one (at any given time). Since it is a supernatural ability, it is a standard action to complete the ritual required for transforming the deceased into such a creature."

I guess that will do. It does mean that so long as you have dead bodies you've got a pretty cool undead bodyguard.
