Skills: 4+Int mod per level.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency:
The warpoet commander gains no proficiencies with weapons or armor.
Spellcasting
At levels 3, 6, and 9, a warpoet commander gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a bard. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained, except for an increased effective level of spellcasting.
War Poetics: A warpoet commander adds her class level to her bard level to determine the number of times per day she can use her bardic music, the strength of, and access to the following bardic music abilities: inspire courage, inspire competence, inspire greatness, and inspire heroics. She must still have any neccessary perform ranks to use the bardic music.
Auras: A warpoet commander adds her class level to her marshal level for the purpose of determining the number of auras known and the strength of her major auras.
Armored Casting (Ex):
A warpoet commander may cast 0 and 1st level bard spells while in medium armor without suffering arcane spell failure chance. At 4th level she may also cast 2nd level bard spells in the same way.
Expanded Spellist:
A warpoet commander may select the following spells as spells known when gaining new access to bard spells: Magic Weapon, Mage Armor, Greater Magic Weapon, Bull's Strength, Owl's Wisdom, and Shield Other.
Widen Aura (Ex):
The area of the warpoet commander's auras increase by 10 feet. This increases again by 10 feet at 7th level.
Strength of Command:
A warpoet commander gains a +1 inherent bonus to Charisma at 4th level, at level 8 this bonus increases to +2.
Heroes' Feast (Sp)
1/day a warpoet commander may use Heroes' Feast as a spell-like ability. Caster level equals her character level.

8 dead levels, 5 if you count the 3 lvls you add to bard's spell progression. Significantly underpowered just because of that. Heroe's Feast 1/day isn't to die for either at lvl 10.

Also, do you have a limit to where Auras come from? I mean, Dragon Shamans too have auras, just draconic tho.

With so many class skills why only 4 ranks per lvl. You should give it least 6 + int otherwise most skills will go unused even though they're so useful.

Only 3 caster lvls is kinda underpowered. I'd say raise it to 7/10 caster levels just to help fill out the dead levels. Or better yet, condense the class into 5 lvls and give it full caster lvls.

For the armoured casting consider starting it as being able t cast up to 2nd lel spells without penalty in meduim armour and then increase it to being able to cast any spell. It seems pointless if you can use low lvl spells in armour without penalty but when you want to use a powerful one you may fail the spell.

Over all the class is pretty good. Great for a buffer which is obviosly what its for. I like the lvl stacking for bard and keeping the inspireing abilities. it just needs some filling out.

However if a dragon shaman entered the class he wouldn't benefit from the increase in aura knowledge, as the class stacks with marshal level.

Updated, added abilities.

I know, so, DS can still get in the PrC just not benefitting from it.

Spell List. You probably intentionally put Spellist instead, but.... And where is it in the class feature description?

Expanded Spellist:
A warpoet commander may select the following spells as spells known: Magic Weapon, Mage Armor, Greater Magic Weapon, Bull's Strength (and similiar), and Shield Other.

Ah, there it is. You didn't bold it that's why I didn't notice. And what do you mean by (and similar).

Widen Aura (Ex):
The area of the warpoet commander's auras increase by 10. This increases again at 7th level.

10 ft I presume.

Strength of Command:
A warpoet commander gains a +1 inherent bonus to Charisma.

Inherent bonuses don't stack, so, you sure inherent is what you want?

Ok, I thought about it a lil more. Maybe I am just picky. But officially, it has a name called Armored Mage (medium). Even though you have conditions for using this (casting certain level spells), it should still be called the same as other classes for easier reference. I mean, even rangers get conditions for their bonus feat for their chosen combat styles but WotC doesn't rename the feats to something else.

Well there bard spellcasting and most of her bardic music would benefit, but their auras would not. It would be like a ranger taking contemplative...

But I updated all the things you pointed out! Thanks a lot Vorpo!
