What is a good Ninja-Rogue/Monk Prestige Class. [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-08, 05:27 PM I've got a Ninja 3/Monk 6 I couldn't find any classes that work with both sudden strike and Monk stuff. I was hopping someone has seen something in a book I haven't seen. Thank you for any help.

01-18-08, 09:17 PM There is the Dragon Decsendent(sp?) I think in dragon magic. It has a sneaky ancester ability that gives you a little sneak attack and bonuses to stealth abilities. It also has some other really nice abilities and it advances your monkness.

01-18-08, 09:24 PM Unarmed Varient Swordsage that focuses on Shadow Hand. You don't even need to multiclass.

01-18-08, 10:46 PM If you had or have maneuvers, there is a PrC in Tome of Battle: The Book of Nine Swords called the Shadow Sun Ninja. They gain full monk abilities and gain stuff that they use in the dark. They also get attacks that drain HP and can add Wis to damage for such an attack. Swordsage would provide maneuvers necessary, or you can take/replace a few feats.

It's pretty cool.

Gain monk wis bonus to AC, AC +2 (over ten levels, like monk's), sneak attack like a rogue, improved evasion and a bunch of other neat abilities (like always stealthy ). 3/4 BAB, good ref save per errata (was full BAB and full saves)

01-23-08, 12:19 PM I think there was a prc called the Monk of the Long Death. It gives a death attack, gives/progresses monk abilities, the ability to use poison, and improving saves verses death abilities... no sneak attack however. It's in the Player's Guide to Faerun. Must be non-good... Very monk + assassin.
