| Serin Ghar07-10-07, 10:14 PM | I'm looking to build what I like to call a "Super Elf", filling as many levels as I could with a variety of Elf only PrC. The problem is I only know of the ones in Races of the Wild, Blade singer and Arcane Archer. Any suggestions? Or maybe there is a list out there. I know there is a Elf Netbook floating around the boards, so perhaps there is a list of them. Thanks. |
| Tuhljin07-10-07, 10:51 PM | Well, there's the Elf Paragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#elfParagon). Here's a list of Elf-specific prestige classes, as related by Crystal Keep (http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/index.php): Arcane Archer – spell-casters who can attach spells to arrows. Bladesinger – elven fighter / wizard. Champion of Corellon Larethian – specialty templar of the Deity of Elves. Darkwood Stalker – elf / half-elf practiced in hunting & killing orcs, who gains Sneak Attacks & eventually Death Attacks. Evereskan Tomb Guardian – dedicated arcane guardian of a tomb in the Evereska Region of the Forgotten Realms, who also hunt down defilers of the tombs they guard. Heir of Siberys – member of an Eberron Dragonmark house who focuses on improving his/her standing and abilities. Seeker of the Misty Isle – searchers for a lost elven island, who are masters of traveling, using skills quickly, and finding what they seek. Skylord – a rider of celestial flying creatures. Wildrunner – an elf or half-elf who can travel quickly and unnoticed on foot, is able to ‘primal scream’, and eventually becomes a ‘Fey’. |

A few more: Master of the Yuirwood: an elite order of sentries of the mysterious Yuirwood in the Eastern Realms, often blending ranger training and powerful magic - divine or arcane - Unapproachable East Justice of Weald and Woe: While the RaW suggests any race, the fluff pretty much locks it as elf-only: a cross between ranger and assassin, master of the longbow - Champions of Ruin Olin Gisir: a keeper of forgotten secrets - and one who has to make sure some of them stay forgotten. The elven variant of the loremaster, appears in Lost Empires of Faerun. While not entirely elven, the Spellsingers - a group of bard-ish mages that use their magic to boost their abilities, require the practitioner to have at least some elven blood. I have heard of a Revenant Blade from Eberron, and an Eternal Blade ? from ToB, but at present can't say more about it. |
| BrutishCelt07-12-07, 04:44 AM | Sword Dancer: Female Elf and half-elf only, followers of the good drow goddess Eilistraee; Faiths and Pantheons And Elven High Mage: Elf spellcaster trained in ancient elven uber-magic; Can't recall where that one is found And there's my two cents, as it were. |
| BrutishCelt07-12-07, 04:49 AM | Oh,and the Eternal Blade is the PrC from the ToB: elf warrior mentored by spirit of an elven hero of old anchored to his blade. Still looking for the danged Elven High Mage. . . |
| Khatoblepas07-12-07, 11:54 AM | Elven High Mage is in Races of Faerun, I think. |
| The_Shaman07-13-07, 03:20 AM | I think so; it is not in the PGtF, at least. |
| Serin Ghar07-13-07, 01:38 PM | Thank you very much for all these suggestions. I'm going to have fun going through the books and reading about them. |
