raptor112 05-25-07, 05:41 PM	I need to find two prestige classes but I can't remember which 3.5 book (Or books) they are in. I am trying to find out which books the War wizard (Not to be confused with warmage which is in complete arcane) and the Tempest prestige classes. I thought War wizard was in player's guide to farerun, but its not but I am pretty sure tempest is in Complete adventurer. If anyone can remind me, I would be gratful Thank you, Raptor112

raptor112 05-27-07, 06:42 PM	I was under the impression that war wizard got updated to 3.5 in a later publication, a generic non game world WOTC product. I could be wrong, and it may of been another prestige class I was thinking of. Either way thanks for your help. Raptor112

Raptor112 It's possible - I can't guarantee I know everything, but I have not seen it remade in the PrC index, and I haven't seen a PrC with similar abilities. The warmage seems more than a little familiar, though - except on its spells known limitation.

If it was updated, it also got it's name changed (I know this has happened to a couple of other PrCs, so it's not impossible). There's no War Wizard in any other product than Magic of Faerūn.
Thog 06-07-07, 08:22 AM	You may be thinking of the War Mage PrC in the Dragonlance Age of Mortals Supplement. It's a 5-level class with a lot of the same flavor as War Wizard, somewhat different abilities.
