I was going through my Races of the Wild today to find alternate armor for my druid and actually decided to read through this PrC.

Seems to me like a pretty good class, taking some good advantage of a halflings size in combat. I saw that you could even scale it up to work with Medium sized folks. Any body have experience with this one? Are there any big draw backs to it? Any tips for playing a character headed towards this PrC? Classes/skills/feats etc...

Only real problem I find with it (not that I've played one yet) is the lack of SNeak Attack progression. Considering that it's a Rogues PrC, I felt that SA should have been better represented. Other than that, it looks pretty good for a Swashbuckler/Rogue type.

Lack of sneak attack progression? It gains 3d6 sneak attack over 10 levels. It's not as much as a full rogue, but the whisperknife gets a full BAB for it, better hp, and the ability to flank at range. Rogue 11 / Whisperknife 9 ends up with 9d6 sneak attack (1d6 less than a full rogue) and still fights much better than a full rogue.

^ I just remember being a bit miffed at the slower SA prog. I haven't actually looked at the class in some time (I've been taking a break from Rogue types for a while).
