I guess I might have more success posting this here than on the Classes boards...where it got kicked to the third page with only ten reads and no answers..../sight

I'm seeking general ideas (ex. Ride bonus equal to class level) as to what abilities a goblin worg-riding PrC could offer if it had a general ability (ex. Teachings of the Tribe) received at every two levels of the class, and allowing you to choose from a pool of abilities. The abilities must underline the deepening bond between worg and rider.

Any ideas? Everything is welcome. After I've compiled everything I'll post the class.

What I have:
- mount can run while making use of Hide
- mount can run while tracking
- improved mounted combat (negate hit on mount not once but twice, plus no bareback riding penalty)
- riding bonus
- choice of bonus fighter feats
- full mounted attack (rider can make full attack when mount moves more than 5 feet but no farther than its speed)
- animal companion's share spells ability

Outside of the above request, have you guys found a way to smoothly convert the new extended PrC format into a readable form for the boards? If so, have you got an example handy I could use?

To me the starting point/comparison class would be the Halfling Outrider in the Complete Warrior. It has been a while since I looked at the Outrider but if memory is correct the two types of riders would be very similiar.

...outside of the existing abilities found in those books, which I see now I failed to mention I already considered, what else can you imagine worg and goblin would gain from this special union?

I say you should just use the Halfling Outrider prestige class and just make it for the goblins. I would think perhaps the gobline worg rider could maybe gain skirmish damage while riding his mount. Hence a good reason to call the PRC Goblin Skirmisher. Also maybe the goblins skill in riding gives his worg a +4 bonus to trip attacks the worg gets for hitting it's foe. Or if you want it to be more powerful, could make it equal to the PRC level.

Hope those ideas help.

Skirmish...mmm, good idea :)

This reminds me, the Trample and Cavalry Charger feats (tactical feat from Complete Warrior) seem to be so geared towards horses as to be an impediment: That last feat confers extra hoove attacks...which don't translate with a worg because they only have a bite attack, no claw attack.
Solution?
