101 Psions CAN do this... list [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-23-08, 09:53 PM List of things that psions can do that arcane/divine spellcasters can't.. Hope it interests people. Some are just humorous attempts. I'll start..

Psions can...

1. Absorb a blow from a Hill Giant and just laugh at it (Elan racial ability, but have to be Psion if you want to absorb lots of damage)

2. Create perplexing arguments.. "he is there".. "who?" "THAT BALD DUDE" "who??" (Cloud Mind)

3. Create a massive flaming barbeque pit (Energy Wall + Solicit Psi-crystal)

4. Terraform for a cheap price.. or dig your pool (Energy Wall again)

5. Look at two people with one eyeball each (Schism)

6. Best every other class in "nekkid & no equipment whatsoever" duels (maybe except the Monk)

7. Save you a lot of money on booze (Shaper + minor creation)

8. Imitate soo many cool Matrix tricks

(Feel free to correct me on any of these.. )

5. Duplicate most anime more seamlessly than magic.

4. Dig - sorry not familiar with this spell and there are other similar things but can it do 20ft long/level at a very cheap price?

5. Hahah.. how else do you aim two different powers at two different opponents??

7. Clerics don't get this. And arcane casters have to spend a 4th level slot versus 1 PP. No contest in the "saving lots of money area."

Wizards can't do this? I'm pretty sure there is an arcane version of Genesis, and I'm pretty sure it has fewer limitations than the psionic version.

Dimension Door is verbal-only. I've seen Silent Dimension Door used as an arena tactic in order to escape a pin.

Granted. But hence the reference 'machine'. You're not really a machine if you can do this trick only once or twice a day. :P
