Additionally, the user must meet the following requirements.

* The user must have the power on his or her class list.
* The user must have the requisite key ability score.

Assume I'm a telepath and want to use a power stone of Astral Contruct (a shaper power)

Is this considered on my class list? My class is psion, and it's a power available to the psion class (and no other class) It would be available to me through a feat or through psychic chiurgy even though I couldn't select it normally.

The same question applies here:

Next, the psionic character must choose one of the powers and make a second Psicraft check (DC 15 + the power’s level) to see if he understands it. If the power is not on his class list, he automatically fails this check.

Only the Psion/Wilder lists and your chosen discipline list are class lists. Ergo, the answer is no.

I believe this was in the FAQ, by the way.

Specific Rule That Does Not Allow This:

However, choosing a discipline also means that the psion cannot learn powers that are restricted to other disciplines. He can’t even use such powers by employing psionic items.

Thanks. The FAQ only covers "What powers can I select for my psion?" I did search this forum for "class list" before posting without seeing anything promising.

Your class list is the same list you choose your powers from, by the way. That's why it isn't explicit.

Your class list is the psion/wilder list plus your discipline list.
