Ardent Skill Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm about to play an ardent in a new campaign, and I notice that they have "knowledge" listed as one of their class skills. Does this mean knowledge (all skills, taken individually) or is it supposed to be knowledge (psionics) like most other psionics classes?

02-21-08, 07:39 PM If it doesn't have a qualifier such as (Psionics) and it doesn't specify "choose a Knowledge skill," then it's all Knowledges.

Of course, this could be yet one more example of horrible CPsi editing.

02-22-08, 03:11 AM This particular mistake isn't exclusive to CPsi. The Spellsword of Complete Warrior also has Knowledge as a class skill, with no relevant qualifiers.

Thanks! No change to Spellsword's knowledge skill, however, so no precedent for Ardent. Sigh.

It is based off their manifester level instead of class level. Basically they can learn any power that they can pay the base cost for.
