Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Spiriti Solis do not gain proficiency with weapons or armor. Bright Energy: When manifesting energy powers capable of dealing cold, electricity, fire, or sonic damage, such as energy ray or energy current, the character is capable of manifesting the energy power as a bright power instead of as one of the alternative energy types. Damage from bright energy powers is halved by a reflex save, as with most energy types other than cold. In addition, this type of energy deals half damage to targets other than the undead. Against undead, however, it has an increased save DC, increased damage per die, and increased manifester level for the purposes of overcoming power resistance. At level 1, the spiritus solis's bright energy powers deal +1 point of damage per die and provide a +1 bonus to save DC and manifester level checks to overcome power resistance. At level 4, the increased damage, save DC, and manifester level check increase to +2. At level 7, it increases to +3. At level 10, it increases to +4. Turn Undead (su): A Spiritus Solis gains the ability to turn undead as a cleric of his spiritus solis level a number of times per day equal to 3 + charisma modifier, as with the cleric ability of the same name. UPDATE: However, a spiritus solis can turn undead without the use of a holy symbol, although they are still capable of using their deity or religion's holy symbol, and retain any benefits from, for instance, a flametouched iron holy symbol. Powers Known:: At every level except 1st, a spiritus solis gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if she had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus feats, metapsionic or item creation feats, psicrystal special abilities, and so on). This essentially means that she adds the level of spiritus solis to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly. If a character had more than one manifesting class before she became a spiritus solis, she must decide to which class she adds the new level of spiritus solis for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level. Withstand the Sepulchral Touch (ex): Starting at second level, a spiritus solis gains incredible resistance to the innate abilities of the undead. A number of times per day equal to his class level, a spiritus solis may reroll a failed save against the innate ability of an undead opponent, although the second result is final. Note that this only applies to inherent abilities of the undead as undead, not any abilities they might have through feats, class levels, or retained from their previous race in the case of templated undead. Greater Turning: At third level, once per day, a spiritus solis can convert one usage of turn undead into a greater turning, as with the Sun domain granted power of the same name. At Sixth level, she can do so twice per day. At 9th level, she can do so a number of times per day equal to 3 + charisma modifier. If the spiritus solis's charisma modifier is low enough that she would have fewer than two greater turnings, she still maintains the ability to perform two greater turnings per day. Improved Turning: At fifth level, a spiritus solis gains improved turning as a bonus feat. Extra Turning: At eight level, a spiritus solis gains extra turning as a bonus feat |

| JulesCARV10-11-07, 09:21 PM | Does some sect of the Silver Flame grant the sun domain? I'm only really familiar with the vanilla "exorcism, good, law, and protection" Silver Flame, but I've heard different branches/sects (puritans, templars, etc) can sometimes grant different domains. |
| carnivore10-11-07, 09:23 PM | no.... but the PrC: Knight of the Raven(ravenloft Setting) does... :D |
