With 9HD and +9 LA, you're talking about and 18th level character.
Hit points of a d4 class, skills of a 4+ per level class. Listen and Spot bonus bumps those skills to about a 17th level char.

Re-do the stats around what's "good" about the monster. DC saves are Cha based. But this isn't the party face.
4 feats can be re-done. Ability Focus is necessary. Pick which at-will Psi and Spell like abilities you want to focus on.

You have two levels to play with. What do you want to do ??

I like playing monsters, especially cool ones like the cerebrelith.

I'm sure a weaker version could be done. Being a cerebrelith would be awesome with a couple of hit dice and a very small level adjustment.

Right?

Id prefer if it was a devil, chaotic evil just isnt my thing.

I mean what fun is destroying things, no fun if there is no greater purpose to my benefit.

Then convert it to a yugoloth. Change its name to cerebreloth, make it NE, and there you go.

You know you aren't very nice. I was all happy for expressing my lawful evil veiws, and you insult me by calling me a yugoloth.:P

Cerebrelith, Cerebreloth, Cerebreluth...

We have plenty of vowels left. What, did we run out of alignments?

Ran out of evil alignments, anyway. Didn't figure we needed nonevil fiends. The original Cerebrelith is a Demon, the Cerebreloth would obviously be a Yugolith, and the Cerebreluth would be a Devil. Unless, of course, you wanted to get creative or something.

That's Cerebrethulhu, I think. And that's the one from the Far Realms.

Then there's Cerebrelithmoo, which is from the Farm Realms.

The Farm Realms? On the Far Side of the Great Wheel?
