Would it be the same kind like the weapon normally does and, if so, is it multiplied on a critical? It's a boost to damage essentially in the same way an enhancement bonus is. Thus, it's the same type as the weapon, and since it isn't expressed in terms of dice, it multiplies in the case of a crit.
