I'm sure this is posted somewhere else, but does anyone know when the official Complete Psionics errata will come out? Or how long it usually takes for the errata to come out?

It used to be within a month. Now it's... hmm. Still waiting on that.

Might be better to attack the book with a sharpie, Astral Construct nerf first.

I'd say even to rip out the 12 or so pages that are descent, and throw the rest in the trash.

It's like my grampa used to say; you mix one quart of crap and one quart of ice cream and you have two quarts of crap.

How long has it been since there's been errata for anything? Like, 9 months? We're still waiting on:

Comp Psi, CMag, CScou, Spell Compendium, Tome of Battle, Magic of Incarnum, Heroes of Horror, Champions of Valor, Monster Manual 4, Sandstorm, Secrets of Xen'drik (I don't think it needs any, though), Secrets of Sarlona (same), PHBII, DMGII, Races of Destiny, Races of Stone, Races of the Wild, Races of the Dragon, Races of Eberron, Weapons of Legacy, Fiendish Codex I, Fiendish Codex II, Magic of Eberron, and Draconomicon.

24 books. That's a lot of missing errata.

Really? I'd start with the Psi-like abilities of Powers that don't exist.

(In fact, since technically the last-out of publications and errata trumps the previous publications, doesn't this mean that Thri-Kreen now have that non-existant Psionic-Displacement Psi-like ability again?)

I think Complete Psionics shows that Wizards isn't giving us free rides on fixing errors anymore. We can expect the errata for CPsi with Completer Psionics comes out.

How else are they gonna get us to pay for it?

The haven't even issued official errata for the cover yet, so I wouldn't hold my breath for content errata.

...I don't even see a need for half those books to have errata's....and only about a 1/4 of em actually "need" one.

I think complete psi is a good example of the fact that they really aren't concerned with exploring the market of psionics beyond what is 'expected.'
In the past, I'd buy just about anything with psionics written on it.
Now, I'm far more skeptical. Unless I flip through it and am deeply impressed, I won't even bother anymore.
I'm at the point where I feel I don't need anymore books, and wizards has shown that their only interest is cranking new books as quickly as possible without any follow up.
Bitter? A little.

I always liked: "If you put a teaspoon of wine in a barrel full of sewage, you get sewage. If you put a teaspoon of sewage in a barrel full of wine, you get sewage."
